Artist Biography

Allen C. Smith is a professional artist living and working in Elmira, New York. He began his fine art career as curator of a small city art museum. This was followed by thirty years in commercial gallery and arts services management.

Recent juried exhibitions include the 73^rd Regional at the Arnot Art Museum in Elmira; the Rochester-Finger Lakes Biennial; awards at the Arnot Art Museum and State of the Art Gallery in Ithaca; and group shows at Exhibit A and The Houghton Gallery in Corning, and Nina Freudenheim Gallery in Buffalo, NY.
